A Consolidated E-Way bill is a document used in place of multiple E-Way bills for multiple consignments, in the same goods vehicle. Transporters can carry a single consolidated E-Way bill for all the goods in their vehicle, instead of generating individual E-Way for individual consignments.

Why consolidated E-Way bill?

Imagine a transporter has 100 consignments in his vehicle. Before the consolidated E-Way bill, the transporter had to generate 100 different E-Way bills separately for these consignments.

The Consolidated E-Way bill made it easier for transporters and authorities to generate a single document, instead of more number of it.

Documents required

  1. Login ID and Password for E-Way bill portal.

  2. Vehicle number / Transporter ID

  3. Bill/Challan of the goods

  4. Transporter document number with date

How to generate a consolidated E-Way bill?

To generate a consolidated E-Way bill, follow the following steps:

  1. Login to E-Way bill portal

  2. On the left side, select consolidated E-Way bill → Generate new

  3. A new form will pop up. Enter the following details

  4. Select mode of transport (Water / Air / Rail / Road)

  5. Select destination state and source state.

  6. Enter your vehicle number.

  7. Enter EWB number.
